So the Spirit intercedes for us to pray according to God’s Word.

Figuratively, to guard oneself in the sense of keeping oneself from defilement (Jude 21).

To pray – We are filled with the Spirit who helps us pray according to God’s Word, which is where He reveals His will.

To keep – We are filled with the Spirit who empowers us to obey the Word, loving God and others.

To wait – We are filled with the Spirit who motivates us to look for the coming of the Lord.

Let’s Bow Before the Father

GRACIOUS FATHER IN HEAVEN, we always want to thank you for Your Word, Your Word that is Truth. It is so magnificent, and ever so sharp and piercing, giving us so much insight for our lives, for our daily living. Oh, may we grasp hold of what our strategy must be to defend ourselves in the midst of this ungodly false pandemic that has swept the church. Oh, if we are going to remember Your Word which will help us cleanse ourselves and distance ourselves from the ungodly false, then please help each of us to determine in our hearts that we will be disciplined and diligent in the building process that You have just shown us.  May we be controlled by You, Holy Spirit, making and taking the time to do everything we can to know and understand the Word, in order to remember it and live in the light of what You teach us. Oh, help us to keep ourselves in Your love, as You keep us for Jesus. May we have hearts that truly desire to please You through obedience, obeying Your every Word. May we make a conscience effort to daily pray as You have taught us in Mat 6:9-13, praying according to Your Word, thus according to Your will. And may our hearts be anxiously waiting for Your mercy Lord, for You, the Living Word, to appear and bring us into the eternal life You have promised to us. We ask this in Christ’s name. Amen!

You are doing great! Keep pressing on!

NextWe will come to the end of Jude’s exhortation to us.
