Let’s Bow Before the Father in Prayer

Perhaps. . .

OH FATHER GOD, LORD OVER HEAVEN AND EARTH, we praise You, and thank You that Your Word is forever settled in heaven. As we unfolded Your Word today I pray it gave us light, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, (Psa 119:89, 105, 130).  Father, this day would we have a new understanding about how powerful Your Word is, and how necessary it is. No wonder You tell us man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes forth from Your mouth, (Deut 8:3; Mat 4:4). Forgive us for the times we have not been quick to hear, even became angry when Your Truth convicted us. Forgive us for the times we have not heard correctly, and mishandled Your Word making it say what we wanted it to say. Oh Father, forgive us for the times we were not slow to speak, and shot the messenger who gave us the Word of Truth.  I would ask that You help us to guard our mouths, being slow to speak. And that you would guard our hearts from anger toward Your Word that is powerful and there to help us, not hurt us. May we let Your Word teach us, reprove and correct us, train us up in righteousness, (2Ti 3:16-17). We praise You and thank you, asking these things in Jesus name. Amen!
